BoA, one of the best Asian idols is debuting in America with her new song “Eat You Up”!! ^^
“Eat You Up” has a powerful beat with her energetic voice~~
This single will mark her America debut~~
It has been two years since she was not so active in Korea (correct me if i am wrong)~~
I am hoping her sucees in her America debut although i am not a big fan of her…

“Eat You Up” has been produced into two versions: America version and Korea Version~~

Kang In and Hee Chul have a new show on Mnet!! ^^

Kang In and Hee Chul from Super Junior will be hosting a brand new show on Mnet!! ^^

This show called “Band of Brothers” is basically a tribute to the world-class musicians and their music conveys like The Queen, Abba, The Beatles, and The Green Day. They want to introduce the legendary pop bands songs in a little different way and bring back the forgotten past to the older generation while introducing the legendary music to the young ones.

Besides, it will also co-staring the Trax Member Xmas and Typhoon!! ^^
I think this will be The Trax’s first comeback show in Korea since they are not active for years.

“Band of Brothers” will be aired on 25 October 2008 on Mnet~~ ^^

Han Hyo Joo Cast in “Heaven’s Postman” !! ^^

Actress Han Hyo Joo is slated to play in the upcoming drama “Heaven’s Postman“, which is a joint collaboration between Korea and Japan and will be working with Hero JaeJoong of Dong Bang Shin Ki. The scriptwriting of “Heaven’s Postman” will be undertaken by Japanese screenwriter Eriko Kitagawa, who also wrote “Long Vacation” and “Beautiful Life”. The director will be Lee Hyeong Min, who directed “Sorry I Love You” and “Snow Queen”.

This is the first time the two renowned writer and director will be collaborating together. As the male lead Hero JaeJoong enjoys a very high popularity in both South Korea and Japan, the drama has already attracted much attention since its preparatory stage. With the addition of Han Hyo Joo, who the Japanese viewers got to know from the drama “Spring Waltz”, the Japanese viewers are already eagerly waiting for the drama to air.

Hero JaeJoong plays as a postman who delivers letters for those who had passed away while Han Hyo Joo plays as his lover.

“Heaven’s Postman” is scheduled to begin filming in early November and both Hero JaeJoong and Han Hyo Joo are currently familiarizing with the script.

~~After a long hiatus, i decided to come back and bring more Kpop news~~
SHINee is coming back with their new repackaged album which include three new tracks!! ^^

Their new featured song “AMIGO” which not only friend in Spanish, but it also stands for “You suffer if you like a beautiful woman” in Korean (아름다운 미녀를 좋아하면 고생한다). The other two tracks are “Forever or Never” which is simple but has powerful rhythm with heavy voices and a new version of “Love Should Go On“. It is similiar with last time, when they did another version of “In My Room” (Unplugged Remix)~~

“AMIGO” will be able to download on this coming Friday (24 October 2008) at 10am (Korea Time). They will also perform their new track on their comeback stage performance on SBS Inkigayo (26 October 2008)~~~ and their repackaged album will be on sale at 30 October!!

JYP New Male Group: 2o’clock!! ^^ Subgroups: 2AM and 2PM

JYP has been working hard on creating a new male group these past couple of months, and the group is making their debut today, July 11.

The group, which was known as “Hot Blood”, had their very own documentary aired on Mnet and showed the struggles that all of the members had to go through while training. Their training literally was like a boot camp.

As stated earlier, the group used to be named “Hot Blood” but it has been changed to “2 O’Clock”. There were originally 13 members, but Mr. JYP cut down the number to 10 members (oh, how I hate cuts).

Since the group is so large, JYP will be making two subgroups called “2AM” and “2PM”. One group, 2AM, will specialize in singing while 2PM will focus on rapping and dancing.

Today 2AM will be making their anticipated debut. The four members of this subgroup are Jo Kwon, Im Seulong, Jung Jinwoon, and Lee Changmin. All of the members range from age 17-21, with Jinwoon being the youngest.

This debut is a special one for member Jo Kwon, for he has been the longest trainee JYPE has ever had for 7 years and 10 days. That sure is a long time!

I just downloaded their single around 2:09am (haha) and here I am writing about them… at 2am. Okay, I’m done with my stupid word games.

Their first single is titled “이노래 [This Song]” which includes three songs and two instrumentals. I think the boys have very nice voices and I like the songs, although the songs are pretty slow. Track 03 “어떡하죠 [Eoddeokhajyo]” is my favorite since it is more upbeat. I’m excited for 2PM’s debut because I like more of the members in there and am a fan of rappers, hehe. I’m too tired right now to write a review on their single, so why don’t you go and check it out yourself. I think it is worth a listen.
